| Personal History | Anye was born in a refugee camp on December 29 2366. When she was 4 years old she returned with her family to Bajor where her family took residence in the Hill providence. Anye was mostly an outdoor person. She liked to climb trees, and looked around in the dirt and the sand. Her parents taught her how to farm and keep animals. But she was mostly interested in other things. She was always looking for better ways to improve her families work, and turn up the efficiency. This made her parents think she wasn't a farmer but a scientist and inventor. Having her potential go to waste on the farm, her parents send her to the newly opened Bajoran university, where Anye spend a lot of time in the libraries. She learned a lot about agriculture and also of the different kinds of technology. One of her professors found her valuable asset. He wasn't a Bajoran, but a Vulcan. And he helped her get into the Starfleet Academy. This is where she read of some great scientist in history, such as Spock, and even Doctor Soong. This was where she first started to develop a passion for science. And the particular field of theoretical and social sciences. At the age of 22 she left the academy and teamed up with a science vessel called the USS Tesla. It was an experimental vessel on which new technology was being tested. She specifically requested to travel with some great minds. She then found out why none of her classmates would want to join the ship. Her mind wasn't tested, and she was mostly doing small jobs and basically wasn't involved in any of the experiments. A lieutenant Arends was in charge. Feeling stopped in her development she started to do her own research in to things. Arends wasn't really pleased by her initiatives and tried to sabotage or took credit of all her works. When she tried to get her justice he had her removed by security and send back to the academy. There she met up with her old professor Skal. Skal took her under his wing on the Vulcan science vessel, the USS Sejak. On Skal's recommendations, she was made the Chief science officer. On missions of the Sejak she proved herself pretty useful in excavations and surveying of new planets. And she started to climb the ladder of ranks. When she heard of an expedition to the Delta quadrant with the USS Aphrodite, she was immediately interested. As Aphrodites Science chief she was requested to start with already find ways to improves on the trip. Her suggestion of bring farm animals brought the Commanding officer over the edge and she was on the expedition. |
