| Personal History | Talina grew up in her grandmother's care, as her mother, Elena, wanted to protect her from her abusive father. Growing up, she was always a loner, preferring little to no company over big groups and parties. Growing up, Talina lacked nothing in terms of love and affection. Being a smart child, she lacked challenges and made it hard for her grandmother sometimes. Her favorite days were those where her mother came to visit At her grandmother's home, she had always been sheltered. She hasn't bothered much with trying to get friends, as she feel awkward talking to people her own age. At the Academy. she studied hard and found a love for biology during that time. She had trouble with her peers, as she didn't understand how the other cadets reacted to certain situations. As the years flew by, Talina grew even more interested in Biology and decided to major in it. She found a few kindred souls who were also interested in biology, but never to the extent Talina was. While she didn't like being physical with others, she knew self-defense was vital to know. For the regular classes, she was a grade A student, acing most tests with ease. While she never flaunted her study skills, she had a feeling some of her classmates resented her. That was confirmed one day when Talina was on her way to class. She heard 2 female cadets talking about her, calling her a recluse and other degrading words. While it upset her that they were talking behind her back, Talina knew that their opinions about her didn't change her academic skills. In her last year at the Academy, she took up extra courses in Biology, helping the teachers and scholars with tasks and other requests the teachers and scholars came with. When she graduated, she did so with flying colors, as she was one of the top students of her year. That was much to the resentment of her peers, who started even more rumors. However, Talina had had enough and put the rumors down quickly |
